SS. Thistlegorm
The mystical SS Thistlegorm is a must-dive for every Red Sea diver. It's a treat for wreck enthusiasts, not least because of its spectacular cargo. It also offers a diverse array of marine life. Schools of barracuda, large tuna, and snapper are frequently encountered. As an artificial reef, it also attracts countless coral fish. The stern with its cannons, the midships and forward sections, the bow and cargo, as well as the vehicles—the two locomotives, the tenders, and the water wagons—are all worth seeing. Currents around the wreck are moderate, occasionally strong. Visibility is generally moderate, and the wreck is often crowded with boats. The early morning hours are recommended as the best time to dive.

Abu Nuhas
Also known as the "Ship Graveyard," who hasn't heard of the four wrecks of Abu Nuhas? This reef has more ships than any other in the area. The four wrecks lie on a sandy seabed on the north side of Abu Nuhas: the Giannis D, SS Carnatic, Chrisoula K, and Kimono M. A safe anchorage for liveaboard dive boats is located on the south side.

Giannis D – Abu Nuhas
A British P&O steamer that ran aground on the reef in 1869 lies at a depth of 29 meters. The entire hull is covered in colorful soft corals. The wreck is home to glassfish, octopuses, moray eels, and mackerel. Occasionally, an anglerfish can also be spotted here.

Big Brother Island
A 400-meter-long island with two beautiful shipwrecks and magnificent drop-offs. The Numidia wreck lies at the northern tip, between 10 and 80 meters deep. The Aida wreck is located on the northwest side of the island. Every section of this reef is covered with coral and marine life.

Small Brother Island
The reef boasts an incredibly high concentration of marine life in a very small area. Coral forests, overhangs, and a wide variety of hard and soft corals in stunning colors abound… and of course, there's plenty of fish! Regular sightings of hammerhead sharks, thresher sharks, grey reef sharks, silky sharks, and whitetip reef sharks can be expected at any time of year.
