An absolute paradise for both diving enthusiasts and those seeking a vibrant island getaway – the Gili Islands offer an unforgettable experience that perfectly blends adventure, relaxation, and eco-conscious living. My recent scuba diving trip to the Gili Islands was nothing short of spectacular. I encountered turtles, white tip sharks, frogfish, stingrays, clownfish, octopus, angelfish, massive turtles, moray eels and so much more. The diving conditions were easy and adapted for all levels. What truly sets the Gili Islands apart is their commitment to sustainability. I had the opportunity to participate in an organized beach clean-up during my stay, and it was incredibly rewarding to contribute to the preservation of these pristine shores. It's heartening to see the local community and visitors coming together to protect the environment and ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy the beauty of the Gili Islands. But the magic of the Gili Islands extends far beyond the underwater/beach realm. On land, these tiny islands boast a lively atmosphere, with charming beachfront cafes, bustling markets, and an array of restaurants offering delicious local cuisine. In conclusion, my scuba diving trip to the Gili Islands was an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, relaxation, and meaningful connections. Whether you're a diving enthusiast, a foodie, or a party-goer, there's something here for everyone. I can't recommend the Gili Islands enough – it's a destination that truly has it all.

We did several days scuba diving on Gili Air and Gili Trawangan, and each dive was fascinating and unique. Frogfish point was like a Disney ride, with so much marine life just waiting for you to swim past. We saw loads of garden eels, rays, morays, and some mantis shrimp and partner shrimp. At Bounty dive site we saw 2 turtles, loads of nudibranchs, octopus, cuttlefish, and quite a few batfish hanging around.Dive conditions here are really easy, with flat calm, warm water and virtually no current. The sites were quiet too, we had the guide to ourselves on one day. I will definitely be diving here again in the future if I get the chance!
